Cost: £25 members £30 non-members
Enjoyable as well as providing good feedback assessments, this workshop will offer you tools to learn how to manage nerves, and develop skills to help improve mental rehearsal ability etc. Workbooks will be provided for each course attendee on the day
The Workshop will cover:
1. What is Positive Psychology and how can it help you.
2. Workshop/ Activity.
Discovering your Performance Inhibiting Thoughts and changing them to Performance Enhancing thoughts.
3. Fixed/ Growth Mind-set Activity and coaching
When is my mind-set fixed and when can I make small incremental changes to improve my performance?
How do I feel about marking within a competition?
Techniques and tools for making the most of feedback.
4. SMART goal setting.
What are SMART goals; what goals can you walk away with today and how will you hold yourself accountable within your team or peer group. How to celebrate the positive aspects of your performance.
There will be a short coffee break during the morning.
